Out with the old, in with the new

Every want to drop that shitty habit? Are you disorganised and want to keep your home a little bit tidier? How do you start?

Just choose one thing, that you can do every day or at least every week. Something that you can build into your day, at a particular time or day.

If it's keeping your home or room tidy, try setting a time every day to just pick everything off the ground. OR just try for that day NOT leaving anything on the ground to start with.

Just pick one habit and focus on that.

Think of it like training at the gym. To actually see any type of change, you actually have to start going to the gym, so you start putting it into your schedule to go 3-5 times a week.

The same goes with building a habit, fit it into your schedule, if not every day, then 3-5 times a week. 3-5 times a week where you won't have anything on your ground or floor OR 3-5 days a week, where you wont be putting anything on your floor.

High quality living requires work. But what you do regularly will become your habits. Once what you do become habits, they are a lot more easily maintained. You will feel a need to do activities you call your habits, you will feel a need to clean just as you feel the need to hit the gym.

START SMALL:
