
If there is anything I know about in life, is one thing I'm passionate about.
Do you have that one thing that you do, that when you do it, your whole existence is perfect, your whole life, your whole being feels like absolute bliss?
That when you're whole world is driving you mad, and you just want to pull out all your hair, and you just can't handle all the stresses, and you just need a time out....
When you need a time out, where do YOU go?
When I was very young, my getaway place used to be reading. When I read, I was in some fantasy world, I was the protagonist, I was on an adventure in some far off world.
A lot of people when they get older, they go to the gym, they run till they feel the adrenaline, and that helps to.
But if you don't have an activity, that when you do it, you feel like you are your very best, that your existence is effortless, I encourage you to keep trying, to keep searching for that one thing that gives you absolute happiness. That one thing, that when you do it, you feel like you have found your place in the world.
You can try finding your passion by trying new things, signing up to learn a new sport, a new hobby, how to rock climb, how to cook, how to dance. Follow the things that give you joy, and keep exploring them, keep learning more of what you like, and you'll find your love. When you feel like you need to do that one thing, like you need to breathe, you know then that you've found your passion.
What I like doing when I'm absolutely stressed and tired of life and I just need a reboot - is dancing. Dance for me is my meditation, my passion, my escape.
You'll probably see me write more about dance in the coming times, I might throw in some analogies about dance and how it relates to life. My passion teaches me how to navigate life a bit better by teaching me to follow what I love, and have faith that doing what I love will lead me to doing more and more of what I love. I've been dancing for over 10 years and sometimes, I feel like I still need to dance like I need to breathe.
