Oprah has a net worth of $2.7 billion and the world's richest black woman. Oprah is a brand icon and has been in the broadcast industry since her teens and has built an empire on her own television shows, television networks, magazine and media, as well as real estate.

She also founded various television networks including Oxygen Media and the Oprah Winfrey Network (2008).
